ARTICLE II: PURPOSE
The Fall Prevention Alliance of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc. is primed to help our Brown County public safety agencies improve through-their-message training of our active threat response and provide opportunity for the public to become community first responders. Our fall prevention efforts create an environment that supports and encourages education, outreach, referral systems, access to injury-prevention, equipment, and connections to supportive services. Investing available community funds in community primes the individual and families to remain safe, independent and injury-free in the home. Not only does this community response improve readiness, it helps citizens understand resources and the expectation to be active in emergency circumstances. While empowering individuals, the program supports the community to become resilient and encourage each other to be prepared as individuals and take responsible steps to be active in natural disaster circumstances.
